As our family cat Bubble is getting older, I wanted to draw a keepsake for my family. I gifted these illustrations to my my sister and her husband ♡	While the other illustrations have Bubble featured, I had to draw their own cat Casper, for my sister and her husband.
A special piece of art with myself, my partner Pepper and our lovely fat cat Yakob ♡	These are my precious original characters (OCs) that I hope to one day write a comic about. It's still in the works currently but I'm really proud do see how far these characters have come (see slide 15-18 to see original redraws of Jay and Ren)	Ren - he/they I love drawing characters in big long coats so Ren is treated to an extra fancy one with fluff. My aim with his character is to be very stylish and when they can - they make their own clothes.
Jay - they/them Jay is a ghost...or at least half of one? A long cloak covering some loungey clothes they ran away from home in... They are more mystery than human.	Riley is cosiness personified. I love drawing her in thick jumpers, thermal tights and fluffy boots. She's always there for Ren so it's fitting she's the embodiment of comfort and warmth.	Ren and Jay have history. While their story is still being written, I love building the tension between the two ♡

This one also features Mae's sibling R.L. who just so happens to be her boss...
Outside of work Naini prefers to dress in more floaty clothes. She also LOVES cats so it's a treat to meet Summer's cat Moo.	The above image shows sketch book drawings I did of cahracters, the drawing underneath shows redraws I did in 2017. Here is a true squad. I didn't want to scrap the unfinished characters so instead I improvised. I'd love to make an animation with these folks one day. I joked that I'd name them 'Clyde' and 'Bonnie' after the infamous duo.
Meet 'R&J'. My original characters, from a 'love' story I started writing back when I was 15, which ended up being over 70k words long 😵 Looking back now though, the story was awful. Like, I didn't have any good understandings/influences regarding healthy relationships at the time esp. gay relationships... so you can imagine how problematic the story turned out to be. Because of this, I wanted to forget I even wrote the story... but I found I couldn't let go of this couple.	[continued] So, instead of focusing on regret, I recently decided to redraw and reinvent them! Now, it's like they've come back to life and grown up with me. They still aren't 100% complete but it's so fun for me to see how much they've changed.	[continued] I'm in the process of rewriting their entire story as I find I now have a better understanding of relationships/people AND new ideas based on my own experiences growing up as someone who has come to terms with the fact that they are gay/queer, on the ace spectrum, and non-binary/transgender.
[continued] They are around 21+ years old by the way, but below, I drew them around 16. Going through their rebellious teen years...	I wanted to revisit this idea I had back in 2015-2016 that focuses around a girl with the power of magical dreams, but it cursed with insomnia.	Here we have a couple.......of demons. They've recently gotten together after weeks of crushing so please congratulate them.
These two would eventually inspired the characters 'Mae' and 'Summer' in my more recent OCs, but I would still love to create their own story maybe with new names. These characters would later transform into the stories with Naini (away from the vampire plot)...	Originally, the project I made "Mask" for was going to be "Mels & Sunny" - a short about a couple - one a human, one a vampire. In the end though, I decided to simplify my idea in order to meet the deadline. One day however, I would love to revisit these two as I love their designs and potential story. These characters would later transform into the stories with Naini (away from the vampire plot)...
